Sleep please come back

Hello my curious friends. Awoke a bit ago and can't seem to get back to slumber land. I hope I get a few more hours before I can call this today. The funny part is that I thought writing would help me become sleepy again, but now I am having trouble figuring out what to write about.

Last night before bed I watched Lady Gaga on her Google interview, and I was very inspired. All creative people should watch this. She is very positive and direct and honest and just makes you want to go do stuff. Maby that's why I am awake. Hmm, oh brain of mine, why won't you just cooperate. My favorite quote from her interview, which I think she said was advice she received, was something to the tune of "You must cast shadows to stand in the light". I'm probably mixing up the words a bit, but the message is the same. I'll check on that later.

She has such a great view on life and is such an amazing self promoter. The google people come off as a bit boobish, not as individuals but as a group. No point in tAlking about that. Oh words gettin jumbly. feeling sleepy again, birds are chirping out me window. Time foe shut eye. I'll see you back here next time.

T-shirts

Look for our new designs and t-shirts on the shop page.

It's getting cool again in Hong Kong, which is nice. I'm not quite ready for the heat to hit yet. Off to get my hair cut which is a bit over due. Performing tonight at the jocky club club house as all the companies gear up for the Rugby Sevens. The Sevens is probably Hong Kong's biggest sports event. After the Sevens is the Dragon Boat race. The nice part about both events for me is how foreign they are. Rugby is much like American Football in many ways, and not in just as many. The cool part is that the teams are multi national. That is what American sports need. More competition with other nations. Thus would open Americans up to learning more about different cultures, and realizing that there is a whole world out there they can learn from. It seems to me that most Americans don't understand that many other cultures are ahead of them in some ways.
And that by studying this they could grow both culturally and economically.

New product and more

Hello fellow curious individuals,

Welcome to the updated Stuart Palm site. Or as it is now called. Curiosity entertainment. We plan to jump into more frequent blogging and vlogging, so check here for that.

We are Also am releasing a few products on the new shop page, the first one, Mao Tou Knows, is there already and we are very happy with it. We are also in the midst of redesigning the site. Most if those changes have already been made. A few new ones are in development, such as a forum for the shop and updated photographs and design elements. Let us know what you think of the new cream color as opposed to the old dark grey.

I will switch gears now to the first person and update you on the life of Stuart Palm. Which is me. Which you already knew. The next couple of projects I have coming are a book of effects and variations I have come up with over the years. As you develop as a performer there are many great routines that go by the way side because the program changes, or the character changes, so I am including these routines in my next release. There will also be some of the work from my current show.

I am also involved in a much longer project of designing a Tarot deck, you can see that on my facebook page or second YouTube channel: www.YouTube.com/curiosityarts

Right now I am enjoying a caramel cappuccino, having a coffee zen moment. It is quite relaxing and good for thinking

All my best to you and yours!

Midsummer Magic

Dear Internet,

I had a great show last night in Hastings on Hudson, Westchester, NY at Midsummer Magic. http://www.rivertownsguide.com/fnl

Thanks go out to Vanishing Vinny for setting up the festival.  The night started as a street festival where Seven performers set up or roved the street and performed for the crowd, I ended up with a kids crowd for this part, I'm glad I was prepared with Pabu!

Then at 7:30 we all got together on a stepped platform where there was a tent with a sound system and performed the formal show.  First was Jim Krooner who ate some fire. After which a dance group, the Donofrio Dance Company showed there stuff.   Third up was Chris Ruggiero Performed a fantastic Juggling and Unicycle act.  Third on the bill was Patrick Terry who predicted a mans actions with a magazine.  I performed next, entertaining the crowd with the amazing Spiral Illusion and my blindfolded second sight act.  (I know somone has some photos, please send them my way if you do.) And the show ended with Vinny, who grew up at the magic shop on that street.  Vanishing Vinny showed his home town what what a great magic show can be.  It was beautiful to see the happy faces and amazed reactions of Hastings.  It was also great to see a town take its Friday night away from Televison and Movies and give its all to a magic and variety show.

I wish the world well.
